The search for connectivity ashore continues: There’s a corner in Bonita Bill’s on San Carlos Island in Ft. Myers Beach where the signal is especially strong. Truly a lifesaver, if you catch my drift. Aboard my sailboat I’m on a G diet, five a month, so you’ll find me hanging out in watering holes, laundry rooms, hotel lobbies and anywhere else that offers a WIFI hotspot. I never knew how spoiled I was until I left unlimited, high-speed internet back at the land home. Those were the days when the only thing “Meg” brought to mind is the eldest daughter in “Little Women.”
