More Than You Think You Know was released in July 2017 and since then lots of people have been asking how to buy it. I’m not going to risk being as annoying as The Critic—selfish marketing isn’t my bag, and it doesn’t work.
But since y’all asked, here’s where to find the novel (so far) and how to get a personalized signed copy. In additio to Amazon and Barnes and Noble, here are the awesome bookstores that carry More Than You Think You Know:
Grandpa’s Barn in Copper Harbor (signed copies)
The Laughing Loon in Copper Harbor (signed copies)
Copper World of Calumet (signed copies)
Copper World has fresh-made fudge, high-quality apparel, stunning jewelry, and the copper art it is known for in addition to a lovely selection representing regional authors and books. The online site is functional and intuitive.
The Carriage House of Eagle Harbor (signed copies)
So honored to be in this shop like no other with the obligatory t-shirts and cozy sweatshirts but many handmade items and art. I imagine a visitor on a blustery fall afternoon tucking into my novel by a warm fire.
Book World in Houghton (signed copies)
Find all your favorite Copper Country authors here in downtown Houghton as well as more regional offerings and a delightful children’s section of books and games.
North Wind Books, Finlandia University
All things Finnish as well as books by regional authors and supplies for the campus community. Special events including children’s hours and author visits.
The Campus Bookstore, Michigan Tech (signed copies)
My home bookstore—and I’m so pleased they’re carrying my novel in advance of my author talk at Van Pelt and Opie Library from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, October 19. Awaiting the “unveiling” of my display so stay tuned for a shelfie. (Yes, it’s all very exciting—I don’t think I will ever get over the joy of seeing my book on a shelf! The library’s getting copies, too!).
Snowbound Books of Marquette (Signing copies at Author Extravaganza December 2)
Unexpected, comprehensive, welcoming—this is a phenomenal Michigan bookstore. Great prices on used books, cool rare books. Looking forward to making this a regular stop whenever I’m in Marquette.
I welcome cash in all forms! Checks or Paypal are easiest. IM me your address on my Facebook Cyndi Perkins Author Page or at email@example.com, with the name and other details for signing your book. Cost, including tax and mailing, for a personally signed copy: $23.
Upcoming events include Keweenaw Art Affair from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, November 11, at Houghton High School with my fellow Keweenaw authors, and the Snowbound Books Art Extravaganza on December 2 in Marquette. Also look for my launch party at Swift True Value Hardware in Downtown Houghton during November Ladies Night Out. Wherever I am with this book, we’ll be having fun and talking about dreams come true!
